How to remove sliding windows in surf?

yeah,
i want to get them out so i can tint them, but i cant get them out...
any ideas?
i undid the three bolts that go along the bottom and front of the windows, but they appear to be the bolts that hold the whole canopy on... not much use...

that idea has crossed my mind more than once... its the getting back in that might be more difficult lol

I remember heating up the black surrounding to unstick the glue inside. Using a heat gun. The whole frame pops out. I think thats the only way. I don't have a surf to go look at. I just trying to remember from when I wrecked one out I got parts off.
All else fails. Go with the hammer. Windows are over rated anyway.

hmm, yeah i was thinking that might have been the case, i had to get pretty brutal to get the two very back ones out.
toyota probably stuck them in thinking noone would ever have a need to get them out again...

get a couple of big screwdrivers from the outside try to lever it out you should see like a black foam sort of shit in between the window and canopy you will then need a sharp knife of some sort and start cutting that all the way around the window, if it doesn't work try from the inside it was a while ago i took mine out but they do come out

just tint them in the truck its what ya have to do with coupe's etc where there windows dont open or come out. still does the job

yeah sorted... they tinted now
i hated my recovery gear being visible, esp with my surf being parked on the road a bit...
