can anyone advise on who can do a suspension lift on my terano petrol.
It has the sport/touring adjustable shocks..which doesnt do anything..not even sure how they work ( it is air ) and the steering oversteers when going left hand bends.
Need someone local to wanaka / quenstown to do the job for me..if you knopw anyone who might be into this.
thanks

Any of these front springs will fit the rear BUT you have to cut off the smaller pig tail part of the spring to get them in just wind up the torsion bars to get the front up its no bigggie BUT you will need to get the wheels realighned after winding it up
AS for the front shocks un plug them and fit some decent ones the factory fitted ones arnt that great at the best of times hope this helps u out

I did this to my 94 terrano......
the easiest way to do it is to put heavy duty king springs in the rear(they give you a 50mm lift) and they cost around $80-90
each from memory....then get your local wheel alignment company to wind up the front torsion bars(they could probly get and fit the springs for ya) to meet the rear lift then do a wheel alignment. all done and you should be able to fit 32x10.5x15 with no rubbing, and you can leave the sport/touring adjustable shocks in they have enough travel for the lift.
hope this helps

Hey Ryan, didn't the Heavy duty King springs make the ride much harsher? I imagine much of the lift is maintained because the springs are stiffer.

Where these springs lifted springs or stock height aftermarket Terrano springs?

Long, I am looking at doing the JGC coil lift in the back. Have u done this...if so how much did the springs set you back?

Cheers,
Scott

Dave, I have a pair of rear shocks I replaced on my 95 up for grabs, they are lifted ones. I replaced them for longer travel ones as I have removed the sway bars on mine. I get rubbing at full articulation on 31 inch tyres on the rear now.  8)
PM me if you want further details.
