Daughter's boyfriend rolled the No.2 truck a couple of weeks ago, then the engine dropped a rod. Now it's spares, so swapped over good A/C feedline for the broken one in the No.1 truck.
Pulled off rear hubs to see how bearings were, as I thought I could hear them starting to grind, but didn't have a slide hammer to pull axles. Wiggled them by hand and could tell they are absolutely stuffed, so stopped wiggling and put them back together, vowing to have stereo louder until I find a slide hammer.
Pulled inside door panels and adjusted/cleaned/lubed locks and latches, so now locks and central-locking work again. I even went down and filled it with gas in the vain hope I might get out in it one day!

Went up and helped set up some of the tracks for the coming Nor west Winch challenge ,Hope any of you Co drivers have had your Wheaties cause boy are you going to need them,Pleased to see they have gone away from the out n out high speed event's lot more technical stages with plenty of short Sharpe winches,I have competed in the last couple held and seeing some of the stages this year this should be the best yet...

Did some track maintenance on this new spot. might have to take the chainsaw in next weekend as the slasher ain't so good on the big willows. I reckon 15 minutes sawing an half an hour winching and I should be able to clear the log jams out and open it up a bit. Shes going to be awesome!!!

Got the Mrs to Lower mine back down to factory height and put the front Swaybar back on ......WOF time coming up soon and buggered if im going to get into a agument with mr WOF man about ride height. since it only takes 15 minutes to change the height on my beastie it's easier just to change it before hand even though my insurance company is aware of the lift.
took the time to grease and lube the front end as well... judging by the amount of crud on the grease nipples and the fact that most of them were blocked I doubt it's ever been done in the last 180000km
have had some fun playing with the winch, we had a stand of macracarpa's cut down a few months ago after they were damaged in the big March storm of last year and had been pushed into a big pile by the bully..have been systamatically cutting them into 3m lengths, using the winch on the daihatsu to winch them out of the pile and then drag them back up to the house for firewood on the back of the zook or Daihatsu,

Posted some of my Vids on the site. I've named them the Low Octane series (The boy racers have the hi octane series).
They're good for a laugh. Havn't posted Low octane 2 & 3 as a couple of mates didn't want their wagons on the net.
Look them up and enjoy.
