Yep safari mulisha's got a good thread and doddzee's got a good chop thread although I think all his photos are missing from his thread and Sam nz4x4's just chopped up his earlier MK?MQ? Safari.

Have a look back through the earlier threads and you should fine them

will be doing mine in the next month, when i get a holiday away from the farm,i am going to use a hilux rear window to put in mine and for the sheet metal (back of the cab) i am useing a roof off a lwb safari(low roof) cut to size with a hilux window in it, as the roof has ribs in it for strengh, and it wont vibrate and will be strong, just need the balls to cut the roof off my saf 1st

I don't really think it is that hard. The hardest part of doing mine was starting!!!!! Took a fair bit before I did the first cut. I cut mine, then changed my mind and cut it a bit shorter. As long as you take your time and have a good plan then it is not hard to do.
On mine I have basically welded the C pillar to the B pillar. The back door frame has made the top and sides to the rear window and I folded a piece of 1.6mm sheet to form the bottom of the window. The back wall is the same 1.6mm but it has curve forced into it. I glued a piece of 19mm plywood to the inside as that is where most of my electric are fitted and the ply gives a very good mounting point.
The biggest mistake I've seen is making the cab too short or the window too low. The window needs to be as high as you can make it.

anyone getting some msnusers thing popping up?

No pictures just some user thing that keeps popping up and has to be canceled 4-5 times before it stays away.

The photo URLs being used are http://www.msnusers.com/4WDINCHCHNZ/....

That website is a MSN groups website that you have to log in to AND be a member of the 4WDINCHCHNZ group before you can access those photos. So it is never going to work, unless you are a member of that group and have signed into the website in the same browser session

You will need to use another photo service such as http://www.photobucket.com.
