westcoast fun

Hi everyone. Well did i have a fun couple of days getting about the westcoasts great 4b tracks.
Big river.....finally got through it. Last time we abandoned it as too boggy but this time the hundred metre bog was dry and we flew through it. the ascent up to the rock wall was abit of a challange and sadly a moment of flustering had me out of gear and crushing rearward into my mates 70series toyota. no damage to his truck but the new snacth strap copped a hole deadcentre in the webbing and spare wheel carrier and back door took the rest of the impact. I was amazed the window in the door didnt shatter. (lucky me) besides the huge ding in the now warped door it still closed enough to not flyopen. Winching the rock wall is a buzz if not a little scary knowing its only that wire to keep you moving forward and over the peril.
The free entrance to napolean hill does exist follow the road before Ahaura untill you re at a wee bridge hang a right through the gate and head up stream only one way in so is very easy.
