Just for future reference...
If i had a samurai cut down from a hard top to a soft top (but just a little bit higher around the rear tray). But it was certed, wof'd and rego'd could I get away with being in A class? it has got a rollbar etc...

ok lets set one up, by central i assume u mean central north island?
i got some land and could host one of the rounds.
i think there needs to be more events like the laurie sanson that bridge the gap up to national events.
because its aimed at fun and newcomers, and some people still travel a long way.
i reckon a 2nd go at all the hazzards, e.g split the feild into groups of 6, score each other, and every body goes threw a 2nd time...............justa thought
Re: Laurie Sanson - Round 3 - 10 Feb 2008 - Thames 4wd Club
that sounds real good , i can get use of land down this way and probaly some of the stations around western side of taupo and may be landcorp, i will chat to a few people and pm you, could be good fundraising for local schools/groups which helps in getting venues.

Assume you have decent hooks, and make sure things like battery is secure (that reminds me
), They "should" check steering has no excessive slop, and that there is brake pedal pressure. You would be suprised with some of the shitters that have turned up in the past.

Re: Laurie Sanson - Round 3 - 10 Feb 2008 - Thames 4wd Club
cheers for that ,hooks and steering all sweet ,will do brakes next week, see you there.
