Just moved here 3 weeks ago into the city, need 4WD for hunting and fishing. The roads are too rough for my car. Would like to do a course before March though so might look elsewhere.

Why do you need to do a 4wding course any ways?? i havnt done one yet.... Am i supose to? lol
I live on otonga witch is just off the side of old taupo road witch goes from the tga road thin to taupo. theres another guy that lives just down the road from me 4 houses down and he owns a nice hilux dble cab.

Yer well some people have more common sence then others and I would rather know before hand if the hill is too steep.
I have no immediate plan to attempt a steep hill or decline. No thats not true.
Have you done any serious off road work ??

Umm well not realy its more like trying to go offroading but getting stuck trying to go thru the mud thingy at the ore bbq in hamilton thats the only place realy been. and the farm that my bro inlaw mate own so we go climing the hils in teh padocs there its prity funn could ask if you can come next time if you want

Thanks that does sounds like fun.
It's a MU and still on transport, hopefully be here in 2 days. I have to do a service on it first
so need to source oil and filters. Is your mate experienced in 4WD because I would like to be taught by someone that knows what hes doing, no disrespect to you or your mate.

Nope they ride the motor bikes im the only one with the truck.. mines only got a lift and 31x10.5'' wheels and does the hills quite nicelly.. just do not use the clutch (bad things happen wen you do),
