obviously you will still need new bolts. apart from that, i had to do a bit of cutting of my centre consol so my levers would still go into gear. apart from that it was quite straight foward i think. mine is a jtop tho.

Yes, it is easy, you will need to cut the centre out of the rear bumper, if you look at it you'll know what I mean - the bit where the tow hook comes through.

But, WHY? Your tyres fit - do they rub? If you don't need it to fit the rubber and its just for the more taller unstable look then I wouldn't bother - needs certifying as well.

its not really a gain i spose unless im rubbing, well ill trim the bumps and flip the ball joint after my wof and go get into this 4x4ing and ill leave it unless it rubs

When you do your ball joint flip drill out the holes to take 10mm bolts for safety's sake, remember after the flip it is only 3 x 8mm bolts that hold your front wheels in place if you leave it standard.

he does, but if you can machine up your own spacers it will end up alot cheaper to make your own kit.

Hi sodhimanawa,

I contacted a Certifier recently and discussed what mods I wanted to do to my 92 SWB Pajero, including a body lift. The certifier just wanted to know what height the body lift was etc, but commented that the body lift would require a cert. He just said to do the lift and drop in and see him and he will check it over. But in saying that I have looked at some Pajeros recently with body lifts and without certs. Think I would prefer to get the cert done! Give your local a certifier a call and have a chat!!

Hi RJ,

Thanks for the reply, I spoke to VTNZ & they say there r two people in Hamilton, who can certify the Bodylift.
As, I do not intend to drop into Hamilton until the Easter weekend I shall stay put until.

Its sure a task recommended keeping insurance in mind.

Cheers
