4 whell drive switch on a 77 cj5

I am trying to find out where to hook up the wire that goes to the four wheel drive switch on a 77 cj5. It must be by the four wheel drive shifter, but i am unable to locate it. All it does is turn on the light on the instument panel, but I want it to work. Thanks in advance!
