1g into surf

mate has a 1g and w57 manual car and was asking if he could put it in his surf that has a blown 2.4d.does any thing fit or should just not worry?. he is pretty mech minded.cheers

Tomsoffroad had one in his surf, it looked a wicked beast. Seach his posts you may find some info.

i think it is a single cam shitter but alot better than the stuffed diesel or his 18r carbed motor in his hilux ,i was wondering if the w57 bell housing goes on to the surf box or does it need adapting,cheers

bolts straight up to that box fine
