Well, have just been out and picked up my new toy.
Has arb locker in rear, old man emu suspension(30mm lift) with anti-inversion shackles, pto winch, snorkel, certed rollcage, soft and hard top, bucket seats, on board air and decent tyres.
At the moment has no muffler so the 2f sounds like a bloody truck
Got a few interseting looks drive out from Wellington in her
Hopefully she will make a showing at the next working bee in rallywoods :D

Put the new rear driveshaft on the TJ, now I am almost back to where I was before bending the output shaft on the transfer case.

Sorted out an abortion of wiring that someone had done in the dash and engine bay of my mates 410.
Striped all the flooring out of my 413 and started wire brushing in preparation for priming and hippo liner. Was happy to discover far less rust than anticipated. :D :D

Had to work Saturday, and intended to look at the clutch in the 'scud on Sunday, but Tim called and suggested a run up the Maungatapu. Obviously we went driving.

Clutch still making horrendous noises, but we got back without needing a tow so it must have been the right choice!

Tim got what I reckon is a really nice photo of the scud.

Did a bit of off road racing with Jono and team DSTRBD, It was shit loads of fun!
Broke a mount off the rear a arm in the first race which caused the diff to move and rub a tyre up against the hydraulic bump stop. This resulted in a shreded tyre and Jono finishing the race on three .

We had a bad start to the second race and got a windscreen covered in mud, after finally getting it clean we had alot of ground to make up! which we did !
We had cought up with the lead thunder truck and just about had him untill.......
