Would there be room for a horse truck, or could a horse truck get into the DOC camp ground? Just thinking of using the truck to sleep in, instead of a tent.

Are you bringing a horse to sleep with? This we ALL gotta see.

Probably only a show-pony though.

There is nothing wrong with a good show-pony!! haha. Nah dads got a horse truck, and its nicer to sleep in than a tent, as it has accomodation etc, hence why i asked if it would fit in the camp ground.

we went thru this at the start of the thread

go back and read it all over again

from whakamaru gas station where we met you last time,
keep heading towards mangakino,
turn left into mitchell road follow that to the end,
turn left onto scott road follow that(quite a ways) till you get to barryville road on your left,
turn there and follow that till you see a bunch of 4x4's that have mud all over them and a bunch of people all standing around waiting for you to turn up so we can go play some more

this shows you where the HQ is and directions how to get to the block from there. SH30 is scott road

Hey Ben, you may have already touched on this but I cant be fuked reading back, have we indicated there aint no shopping malls or super markets handy so bringing food(and beers) is essential. As a few good young blokes on the NI safari showed up with next to no tucker and I really felt bad whilst me and the mrs ate our bacon, eggs, sausages, spag with a hot cuppa and bikkies in front of them 8)

Dammit... another one bites the dust . I've been quietly getting quite excited about heading up for the long weekend, especially seeing some of the photos... but now it looks like we won't be able to get up for this trip. I won't bore anyone with the details... there are too many reasons to list, all conspiring against me :?

Anyway, have a good weekend. Pity I won't get to meet a few people to put a face to the username. Never mind, I'll just go and sulk in the corner.
