fair few sticks into the diff thismorning, cleaned all the shite out, bolted it all up and been driving around most of the day today doing skids here and there 8) and it hasnt broken yet so should be sweet :twisted: gotta love doin roundys with a locked rear :wink: sorry to deiselboys dads back paddock :? but it was fun eh :D hehehhe... that grass will grow back im sure......eventually. i blame Toyoda..it was him not me :wink:

My old cruiser is no road handling package at the best of times :? with the welded rear diff it made it very ...exiteing to drive 8) off road it was good...plenty of drive from the rear :twisted: ...

untill i broke the pinion that is... yes i need to fix it again :evil: but thats 4x4'ing

im going to put an open diff back in as i think that having the welded diff in there is just more hassel than its worth. :roll:

proffesionally designed weak point 8) so that the steering box/pitman arm are safe from breaking, easy to bend a steering link rod back into shape in the bush... not easy to replace a broken sector shaft :wink: .... had to do it twice over that weekend :roll: but better than being stuck in the middle of the bush with an imovable truck :D

going to slip a section of box over the steering link to make it a bit stronger i think... not to sure yet :roll:

Bring it out to my place in the weekend and give it a test.
We can grab the photos of the LOA( :lol: ) artic and other stuff for Mongoose with me cammera while we're at it.

8) day off work today and spent it out at a mates place ( 10 acres ) using the cruiser as a tractor :shock: moving posts for a new fence :wink: and testing the new diff at the same time 8) very nice diff, quiet as :D
