Steve, stop watching crap on TV and get your fat ass up to Rallywoods, what is the point in owning a farken 4wd and only using it twice in three months???? Especially when you wanked on for so long about getting one. Even Jerry gets it up more often than you and his is a shiny one

Image

Well the bar work looks great curly  ,really keen to see whats next to the beast

I think we made progress today but not sure when look in the shed now.

Started off after a couple of hours with this which is roughly what the final product will be

Image

To make things a lot easier we just cut the floor out and will build chassis mounted seat mounts and then some tin around it

Image

Then so we could weld the brackets etc on the inside of the chassis it was time to pull the engine out and strip it down which sucked having to pull it apart again, but def made the welding easier

Got stuck into making the front wheel arches bigger, had removed the fender extension flare thingy's several weeks ago, but today tackled the front driver's side wheel arch, raised the extension flare about 45mm, trimming quite a bit of sheet metal off, learning all the bits and pieces ready for the left hand side - that will be next weekend.

In preparation for bigger tyres and lift - sometime in the future.

after spending some time in hastings headed back to yoricks shed to do some work on the G chased down a miss discovered the sparkplug was stuffed so now it is running sweet as the trans is working well.
still got to check out why my front locker isn't working i am sure it has something to do with the actuating cylinder so will take that off and have a closer look at that.
the disappointing thing though was discovering the rear crankshaft seal is buggered and to replace it on these engines means removing the crankshaft bugger :| :|
might take if for a shakedown soon anyway

G on the rocks
