Well I tried to keep everything on the first post BUT i have so much info it didn't like that

SO i'm going to post up as normal..
First post 1- 13 are on the first post.. The rest will follow this post. trying to keep it simple barry..
Anyway UPDATE time..
Over the weekend I installed the lex into the chassis.. What a drama.. Vacuum 4wd had to be removed so it would fit the PTO as well..
Then when I took it off the thrust washer had self destructed on me.. So I had to rebuild it

took hours.. And as it turned out I had a manual 4wd transfer on my bench so it took it's place.

It now fits like a dream.. And the PTO will too.
Here is the old xfer..

and

The thrust washers had started to wear down the alloy.. so was glad I caught when I did..
I had to remove those so I could put this on..

So it would fit in between the chassis rails..Once I had rebuilt it I then started on engine mounts and xfar mounts..
Here is the engine in

Sorry for poor pic..
There is not much room behind it..

You can just sort of see the mount holding it up here

And here is the Xfer mount that I did.. had no choice really.. Thanks to Bruce for pointing this out as I was totally stumped on what I was going to do here.

Once I cleaned up the garage of all the crap on the floor..

I thought I'd chuck some tahs on it and see how it looked..

Well lets just say I'm very impressed as to how the height is on 31's with all but the drive shafts and front panels on..

It is sitting as high as my 70 with NO engine in on 33's and the new truck is the same hieght to the door with 31's on..

I can only imagine how high it'll be with 33's or 35's.. gawd..
Front view on engine in

Only thing that I might have to change or mod is my sump is a rear and I either have to cut some of the alloy out of the way to allow for travel so the 3rd doesn't hit the sump OR maybe get a front sump and see how that sits..
Everything is sitting nice and high outta harms way.. so far i'm pretty happy with it..
Cheers K
