Damm start time for the CHCH port has been moved up I'm now flying out in an hr.... still got to make a bracket for the new Alternator and make the water lines to the rear, bastard looks like the truck isn't going to make Gwavas

here's an update
Steering box mounted


The flat pitman arm make this so much easier... you can see in the second shot there is nice clearance between tie-rod and drag link and I've managed to fit the original steering column

all that needs doing to finish it off is the cooling lines.... since I've got time I'm going to sort things out properly (not make fit )
starting with the back end I ran some pipes up through the deck then decided to use them to make a bit of guard for the fans


had a heap of short bits of 19mm plumbing pipe and a couple of old tie-rods so
I'm now trying to mount the header tank wingnut got me

from where I'm sitting, I'm certain it was the cheapest thing he could find.... took me ages to work out how to mount it, here's a shot showing the factory mounting

a 6mm rod will fit into the hole and there is a spring tab next to it..... this one had me scratching my head for a bit but think I've got it sorted
should have pic's tonight with a creative answer

Load log boats.... I'm one of the digger drivers that are inside the boat, keep meaning to try and catch up with some of you local guys while I'm down but they keep giving night shift
