tho i extended the outlet hose to the filter to keep it out of the water. for any serious 4x4 you would want it plumbed back to intake or in a drier spot.

Started up the rebuilt motor for the first time and took the pajero for a drive. Goes good - no leaks!

gave the new winch a bit of a test. Goes good :D . Got sliders on,bullbar all bolted on properly. Bring the hard runs :twisted: :D

Did about 6km then blew the fuse for the fuel pump, put a larger on in and blew straight away. Had a look to see but couldn't find anything. So got a tow back and then jumped in with Ian for the rest of the day.
Comp rig: Suzuki Vitara, L67 Supercharged V6 Commie and auto, Prado chassis and diffs. Gigglepin 8274 twin motor rear mounted winch, air free spools, 35" Silverstones, ect

Finaly got me another 4x4!.
Would of had it back yesterday but of course the banks arent open to weekdays!.
She cut out after filling up in turangi.
After giving her about 5 bleeds ( most of them was me doing it wrong).
She ran fine again. Looks like the primer pump has a slight leak in it Seemed to have screwed it back down without a leak for now tho :S.
Few other things but will get there.
So gotta sort out that problem.
Otherwise fairly happy with it.

just over 6k. shes running sweet as now. Getting its teeny problems sorted out.

Looks like the primer pump isnt leaking now. I think i just didnt screw it down properly
