I don't care WHAT anybody sez, Skid, you are a good man.

Saturday, Richie (#1 son) and I replaced all five glowworms, $241.00 delivered to door. Makes starting LOTS easier.

Sunday, we went up to Rallywoods and we had a look around, his first time up there, didn't do anything spectacular, neither of us are really competent at offroad driving and recovery, so just stooged around, went up to the trig. he was suitably impressed at what Wellington has at our back door.

went up to that CZ fun trial at Palmy with Taz, had heaps of HP and pace to zero all the hillclimb hazzards, must have sucked 20 or 30 bucks of fuel per hillclimb :P managed to flatten just about every peg in all the other hazzards and the truck had a wee bit of a lie down in one of the drain stages but we reckoned it didnt count coz the door never touched the ground   completed everything without busting the truck

thanks for towing my truck up there taz and thanks for the loan of your trailer possum

if i am trying to get moisture out of a headlight i put it in the oven with the glass facing down the theory being the whole unit heats up evenly less chance of cracking and with the glass facing down so the hole is at the top makes it easy for the moisture to exit as it rises best done when the other half is out of the house though

It had mud all over the lense, so that wouldn't have worked :-( I was melting the glue that holds the lense in so I could seperate it and get the mud off :-(

Water/moisture is easy take the light out and stick it in the sun for a few hours :-)

Use to use then 20 - 30 years ago with V8 holdens worked real well toget the carb bang on, took a little bit of time but was well worth it. Just did the conversion figures on a trip could get 23.78 litres/100 kms and if I pushed it hard would get 30.13 litres/100 kms. They were the days

Took the wife out with me Friday afternoon, (nothing like spending quality time together) to help peg hazards for the 1st round of the club champs. Sunday had 13 drivers so was a good number and when I get the points sorted not only did she beat me by 5 points but was 2nd overall, She must of had a bloody good co-driver(Me)

used to have that issues with safari. would just take bulb out ,poke a hande towel in there and use fork to push it around and wipe mud off.,then rinse out and sit beside fire to dry. Worked a treat :D

Got the Pajero off the tarmac for the first time since May! :P Just for a gentle cruise up Muriwai for a kitesurf at South Head. Rebuild engine is going good - still running it it. Not much left to do, just need to make up some new cables for winch, and maybe another 500 km of running in. After that we'll be ready to party.

Lots of exposed car wrecks at the moment. Also, there's a massive dead whale parked up at the moment too!

Was an AWESOME event! I did 93km mossburn to mossburn, it was 31 getting to woolshed & return, so 62km off road in 18hours, average 3.44444km/hour!!!

I didn't recognise the spot but do now, just before you crossed another runner to the left of the 80?

We didn't break the surface there, blame the 2nd team!!

Well the weekend was suppose to go like this...

1- Rotate tyres on the wifes challenger
2- Put muddies back on the bighorn
3- Clean interior of wifes and my bighorn
4- Fit snorkel again on the bighorn (using terrano airbox) but airbox is to small
5- Safari to be collected by new owner

what was achieved...

1- Clean wifes challenger interior
2- Buy a new bike for my 3 year old
3- Buy me a new bike :)
4- Safari collected by new owner
5- Clean out the shed and found I had 1 overloaded trailer full of junk and rubbish

so not what I wanted to achieve but I have heaps more room now :)
