Parallel Dual Battery Set ups?

Garage talk. Anything from mounting a winch to water proofing the electrics.

Yep, the electric one was to unreliable and was very had to seal and stop water and dirt from getting into it.

This one is set up so that you will alway's have a winch that will engage even if the cable breaks.

Not all Winches are the same :wink:

I've made this to fit our gearbox and I don't think it would fit on other makes and models:roll:

Battery set up tested at Woodhill over the weekend and all working fine :D

Pulled a LWB Safari out of the car park play area back corner mud bog and used the new cable free spool to back up Mudhog and rest without having to get out and get dirty again :wink:

I will be looking at up grading my alternator so that I get a better recovery
charge time with the batteries, but the winch had plenty of power to it.

Very happy with how it worked :D :D
