i think how much they compress would be the issue?? try and give them a good test and let us no.

Compress? The springs surrounding the bags are pretty thin. I think they are only made to keep the bags together. But I'll get it flexing and take some pictures.

I got a new price quoted for the bags from Delta 4X4 here in Chch. They told me they're worth $800 not fitted. (they are childs play to fit, that's how come I fitted them).
The set I brought was off TradeMe. They were off a FJ40. I brought them second hand for $300. So far I'm stoked with them.

I ended up getting a baby sitter and heading out with the boys to Hanmer a couple of days ago. It was a blast! I intended to get the 40 out n dirty if I was just taking the kids up. But I ended up towing two bikes n a quad instead.

By the time we got home from riding the tracks I was to stuffed to take the 40 out. :(

We went up n down a few Haglen tracks. Man they are naily!!! :shock: :shock:
Got my quad stuck going down one. Managed to get it free with some help. Silly mistake on my part.
