Mike is going to have a landy that rocks within 2 weeks... aren't you Mike... for when I come down... ay Mike... to go on Al's birthday trip... ay Mike... in 2 weeks... ay Mike ;)

No self respecting bgael would want to be seen in a landy, so there is no need to worry

BUMP

Right MIKE has just advised his availability for this and agreed on the 30th of August, may as well make this an overnighter as well and go for a play in the MUD on the Sunday, and people are welcome to go in on the Friday night as well. those not doing the NZQA part are welcome to come along too.

BOOKING FORM WILL BE UP SOON

Rallywoods fees will apply as well as NZQA Course fees for those doing this part.

we may see MIKE's POS Rover in action :D

JUST A REMINDER REGISTRATION IS ONLY REQUIRED FOR THOSE DOING THE NZQA Course.

Those that have already done this course etc do not need to register ie just turn up with your truck and beer (for after the days driving etc)

friday night/sat night at green hut :?: :?: :?:

will the tutor allow us to partake in a beverage or 5 whilst under tuition, coz I it will be hard listening to Sadam flicking tabs off the tops of cans in the bazebo whilst we are in the hut learning

is there going to be a catered lunch on both days, coz I heard there was a wicked chef who frequents Rallywoods on a regular basis

is there anything I may have missed :? :? :?

its a good excuse to leave the missus to neatly place things where she wants them, without you having a say in it.

what more could a woman want, apart from everything

I like your thinking, but I need to secure the garage before it's full of who knows what that isn't my stuff. Also she just let me buy a "new" XJ when really we should have more important things to spend money on, so she has some moral high ground just now.

Don't panic FEN, there is a general training day coming up after this and the NZQA one will be run again after this when there is enought interest again. Look out for some upcoming shiny Aka's trips soon....

Cool - we've bought a place over the hill, but once I get a second recovery hook on the XJ and fit some decent tyres (are Pirelli Scorpion's as bad as I think they look?) then hopefully I can actually get my backside in gear and join in.

Edited to say they are Scorpion ATRs I think... Why someone went from 225/70x15 to a 30x9.5 flotation tyre with such a road bias I don't understand.

Will do. I found some info on where to mount the second one on an Aussie forum someone linked to in the Jeep section, but it looks like there is a bit of strengthening to do and it sounds like just using the one it already had could twist the shell in a heavy recovery.
