seat upgrade for GQ

my drivers seat is like most GQs, past is best so i want to put in some better seats, just wondered what experiences you guys had, thought about irmscher bighorn but i can buy new sports seats for the silly money people want for ones half eaten by there dog, i thought about buying a set of those $300 seats off trade me and installing.. aparently the wof man is only interested in the floor mounting of the seats and as long as heavy duty brackets are used to mount the seat to the ORIGIONAL runners a cert is not required... this is just what i am told though...

I have Bighorny seats and have adapted the mounts to suit the Bighorny runners. I had to weld patches into the floor where holes were punched by the orginal seat mounts after the 05 Kiwi. I've then fabricated completly new mounts apart from the front inner mount and the engineer was happy with that.
