Hey, has anyone heard about the dodgy stuff thats been going on in Minginui over the past couple of weeks.... :? :? Bit of gang related crime, hunters have been held up and had their firearms and vehicles stolen while being in the bush.

Bit worried about leaving tow bus and trailer parked up somewhere or being held at gun point while being out in the bush..... at the same time I don't want some tards wrecking my weekend!!!!

The farmer will allow six 4x4 trucks etc to camp on his land. There's no amenities so bring your camping gears and contact me so we can sort out how you can find were we'll be camping.
Minginui is not really suited for shiny trucks.

Here we were, wondering through the forest, minding our own business, when we found this wagon parked up, no one in sight and looking very sad.

Haha! Yes um , err, well...
Basically not watching where I was going and driving too fast, walloped the end of that big log you can see next to the truck, snapped both kingpins off like carrots  and dump the wheel and hub on the ground
Had to flog some bits off Scotts truck, go back into the bush, rebuild the swivel with a stock one, complete with c-arm, cobble some steering back together, and drove it back to camp before dark.
Piled it on the trailer today, put Scotts front axle back together, and got home this evening.
Got to say many thanks to Scott, Wayne, Sarah (Satelite)and Pete(Dieselboy) for all the help getting the truck mobile again.
Good to meet DJ and the boys as well, and yes defiantly unfinished business back there!

I have a video of some of it and will post it when I can get Dean to upload it. The water fall camp as a new shelter hut with fire place and tables etc etc looking sharp ...
