Hilux gearbox Info needed?
I need to know if theres anyway of telling the difference between a W56 gearbox, and R150 and R151 by just looking at them on the floor? Do they have the codes stamped on the box anywere?

isn't that second pic of a G52,that has the transfer gear lever next to the gear stick and on a w56 it is a separate transfer box from the gearbox, i have a w56 in my shed and it is the same as the first pic,

Is too, my bad, image fixed.
the bolt pattern and the housing around t/case lever is different between W56 and R series as per images.
w56 and G52 more comparable overall other than t/case lever position, can't believe I missed that
