80 series Transmission wanted

oh dear it's christmas and as usual murphy is having a say right before I need to do lot's of towing.....the transmission has gone west.
Of course no chance of getting mine rebuilt befor then :roll:

Anyone know of the whereabouts of a 1991 trans for a cruiser in good working order?

Its common knowledge that a transmission is an auto and a manual is known as a gearbox.

Auto it is, and yep i'm with Klompy on the common knowledge thing, maybe technically not 100% correct but old skool dudes know the lingo be they young or old :mrgreen:

Kaiapoi repowers? They got a couple of 1hdt motors for a rainy day might have a tranny stashed somewhere maybe?
