Got winch sorted out on Friday so decided to have a look at Te Aroha side of Thompsons track.
Easy as but about 1km before the summit we hit a traffic jam (photo below)
I added some subtle photoshopping to hide identities of persons involved.

Image

They offered to move their vehicles (on track) to let us pass but we decided to turn back and leave exploring the summit for another trip.

Got several hundred pics of a sunset on Sat night for my timelapse project. Main laptop is getting repaired so can't make it in to a clip just yet. But took my first shot at taking a star trail photo. lots more experimenting to do, need a 2nd battery though!

Those are awesome photo's guys, keep em coming.

pretty good weekend for me i think,

After yesterdays big catch, i caught a 6.5lb Lady trout in the same spot, off a similar lure.

Unfortunatly no photo's, but i will get them out of the freezer and show them side by side. later.

I think lady luck was on my side this weekend.

Damn that's a sweet shot! Was my first time using my remote timer so happy with the first result. Lots more tweaking to do. Didnt edit mine or anything in photoshop (as laptop is in for repair). On your pic it looks like a satellite moving across? What settings did you use?
