ignition problem,

This smorning wen i went to start up the surf, i Pushed the glow plug heat up buton thing, And it made this groul noize then it stopped working, and now wen i turn the ignition on it makes a big cadonk sound in the engine bay, i can't find out where the noize is coming from, does any one got any ideas?

I would assume the big "cadonk" sound is the glow plug contactor (relay) closing. It sounds like maybe you've got an aftermarket glow system in the truck, and I would assume the push button closes the relay which feeds the glow plugs with the high-current they need (much the same as how spotlights are wired up).

If its not glowing, get someone to push the button while you look for a relay in the engine bay making the noise, then follow the wiring to look for a blown fuse or broken wire... or it could be the relay itself... best advice I can give without seeing the truck...
