anyone no what rear diff ratio my hilux will run? or where i could find the information?
87 ln65 hilux double cab, originaly was a 2.4 deisel

have a look at the ID plate on the firewall of your truck. one of the number batches should read G252 or simalar. (will start with a G) go for a google look on "Toyota diff codes" and ye shall find info on what the factory diff ratios were. Of course if they have been f**ked with, you will have to do the turn and count thing. Hope that helps

thanks for that, code was g 252 and google searched and it should be a 4.556 - its running factory transfer on the back of comidore trans so im prety sure its factory ratio but it has had an lsd instaled.
