Really small KzJ95 heater control bulbs

Post by Jerry »

just had my shiny prado dash apart and replaced 3 of those tiny wedge bulbs, got to a blown one in the heater control and they are even smaller  any idea where to get them? or has anyone got spares? maybe 80 series have them?

Whilst I'm there I notice the heater temp goes either hot or cold, shift the temp knob to 20 and it suddenly gets hotter, are they normally like that or is the thermostat in the box faulty or needing a clean or something?

Nice and clean under the dash to fit a radio or 3

You might have to try Toyota for those bulbs Jerry?

nothing at repco, went to toyota in LH to inquire how many hundreds of $$$ they would charge for one, said they don't stock them, they directed me to a auto sparkie nearby (by the mower shop) who was really helpful and had one suitable cheap.....
