Hilux diff pinion shaft wanted

Post by nzhunter »

I'm just putting a lokka in my lux, its a 2pin diff with a pinion shaft running through the middle that holds the 2 smaller spider gears in. That shaft on mine has a step on it so im pretty keen to replace it. Does anyone have any diff parts around? Because toyota nz has to bring one in from japan with a 2-3 week wait if i wana get one from toyota.
Any help would be rad, im not in a huge hurray as the diff is a spare one so i can do it on the bench and isn't taking my vehicle off the road

Thanks,

Dan

The crownwheel and pinion have to be as a matched pair, if you swap one you've got to swap them both as a matching set

Are you meaning the cross pin that holds the spider gears?
