can I ask what made you decide to do them ??

was it recommended to you or was it making some different noises???

everyone asks if theyve been done and i dont know..they look at you like you just shot their dog ..it makes a rattling sound at certain rpm but it hasnt got any worse..just for peace of mind.. cheaper than new engine..and having it off the road with fu$#ed motor would suck..love your avitar skid wife isnt so keen :D

I did mine earlier this year and they are a piece of cake. Cheap insurance. Toyota recomend to do them at 100ks as they are a known weak point. I had 127ks on the clock and there was bits of white metal missing. Just don't buy the bearings from Toyota they quoted me the earth for mine.

I got mine from Segedin Truck & Auto in Auckland. I got the whole 6 sets for about the same price Toyota quoted me per bearing.
