Turn up or tune up??

There is a screw on the back of the injector pump that will increase the fuel delivered in relation to throttle position. Quarter of a turn is all you want to do.

Top get te injectors tuned, (it looks quite smokey in the pic's i have seen) you will need to take it to a diesel specialist. You need a special test bench to set the injectors up, and they will most probably need new nozzles. Injectors used to be between $60 and $80 an injector, with the whole job around the $400 tyo $500 mark depedning on where you went.

Couple of things though:

Dont touch the injectors unless you know absolutly what you are doing, they are dangerous.

Don't turn the fuel up more trhan a quater of a turn, other wise you will end up with a very sick motor.

As 2lt's are prone to fatigue cracks in the cyclinder head, if you are going to start tweaking the engine, make sure you have a good reliable aftermarket temp gauge fitted.

The 2Lt will not stand ANY sort of over heating, which will result from to much fuel.

If you want an easy and quick performance gain, shorten the exhaust and increase its daimeter and put a high flow airfilter on it. Don't play with the fuel to much.
