VX CRUISER FRONT DIFF LOCKER LIGHT

Post by furnace »

The Front locker light on my Cruiser sometimes comes on when i'm highway driving, starts off dull the gets brighter [ a bit worrying ].It will go out as soon as you put into low range, turn locker switch on then back off again [ no problem with the back one ] I have jacked up and checked that it's not engaged [ it was'nt ] but still a bit worrying ...lol..This only happens every now and again, everything works as good as when off roading ...ps i'm about as electrically minded as a carrot ..lol..but was hoping that it will be something simple

VX CRUISER [1992 ] trayback,3'suspension lift with OME shocks and springs,33" maxxis [ soon to be 35" ] bar work, winch, front and rear lockers, etc, etc

My 80 would do this especially when things are damp. I reckon its an earthing problem too.

Let us know what you find?
