Hi Jerry, I'm sure I have one under the bench at work, a mate of mine fitted a Toy;V8 to a Jet Boat and I grabbed the A/C pump out of the bin, If it's there It's yours the only problem I'm not at work till Thursday to have a look. I will be in touch.

NEVER THROW OUT ANYTHING, IT WILL BE HANDY ONE DAY,

FITZY.
PS; It's in CHCH, ------ Mike's back and forth to Wellington  , I don't know what the attraction is, .

sweet :-) may as well convert it and shove it in there whilst its apart and the cambelt/belt/waterpump is being done, extra air is always useful :D , considered a sanden etc pump but that means finding a belt that fits, with this its all factory off the shelf stuff. :D

and this should run the train horn nicely :D

I am onto my second ac pump now, the first didn't last long at all. I think a lot of them are shagged by sitting around unused for a long time.

There are three different styles of pump, they wil all interchange as the mountings are the same but exhaust and dipstick routing varies ad might cause you problems.

I pick them up on trademe for $20 and have a couple of spares at the moment. If you get stuck getting one to fit let me know.

cool, one option is to rip the stuffed one out and not have one (there is a factory belt both with and without)........, with 2 battery trays space is going to be a premium under the bonnet.....

you can mount your manifold and other plumbing bits reasonably easy but they do take up a bit of room.

I brazed a fitting into my airbox to supply air to the pump from a clean dry source and have a manifold with a blow off valve, pressure switch, pressure gauge, a quick disconnect that feeds a 21L tank in the back, and a regulator which feeds a quick disconnect at the front of the truck for tools, airline etc.

I plumbed it into the dash AC switch. Works okay, still takes a while to inflate tires but it's good to have options.

Hi Jerry, I have the A/C pump sitting in a box here at home, what do you want ? , It could be worth more to courier it than you could buy one in Wellington, do you want to check with Mike when he is next going to Welly? or anyone else going up ? . I will drop it off what ever best suits you, the pump looks to be in good condition with clutch and multi ribbed pulley .

Might wanna add a oiler to the inlet as well  as it'll stop it from seizing..

Yeah I have an inline oiler - the pumps haven't seized they just don't compress anymore - seals must have gone.

Cheers
