Rancho adjustable Shocks Not Pumping

Post by crizpy »

Hey I have a set of ranch 9000x with in cab controll and compresser in the back,
The scale goes 0-5 , They have just stopped pumping over setting 1, I have pulled some lines off and compressor is pumping out air, if i pull any other lines off it drops on the scale to zero So my thoughts are that if it was a air leak It wouldnt Hold 1.
Ive also put my garage compressor to some of the lines and can get scale to around 3-4.
anybody know about these systems..
anyone know where i can take it That i wont get ripped and sold new shocks ect.
could my pump not be pumping once it starts getting under load, might i have a stuffd shock.. Ive tried blocking off Front or rear to see if i can get one side pumping But still max is 1.

any help pleaseeeeeeeee..

hahahahahahahahahaha

sounds like you want to do some lowrider stuff, side to side, front to back, get it jumping, rollin on 3.

anyways, maybe a holding tank may work, compressor fills tank and then fills shocks. with a tank it may create more pressure and work better

I'm not sure how the in cab ones work but in theory they must be the same basic design as the normal adjustable with the knob at the bottom of the shock. Mine wouldn't adjust past setting 4 (9 way), so I pulled the agjuster off and it had siesed up a bit not allowing it to push all the way in. Maybe yours is the same.

I took the adjuster off, squirted crc in there and then hit (OK, tapped) the adjuster with a punch which freed it up nicely.

Works again, I sealed the adjuster up with some gasket goo stuff so hopefully it lasts a bit longer.

Maybe similar fault with yours.
