Re: twin transfer cases
this is what mine look like you need a second stick , will need to change exsaust as the transfer's are longer you will also need to make custom drive shafts

then getting them to fit in the rig

.
why do you want duals it would be easier for you to fit gears into your transfer case this way you wont need it to be certed
but duals are cool and so are gears , thats why I've got both makes it so much more control in the rocks

You need a second reduction box for the rear that is a top shift, ie the stick comes out of the top of the reduction box, not the one that comes out the front
you basically disassemble the donor case and add the bits to the adapter then bolt it all together. You will need a longer front and shorter rear driveshaft, and possibly floor mods
Heres a pic of mine

Heres a link to the install instructions
http://www.trail-gear.com/tech/dualcase/index.html
and a link to an adapter on our site

give me a call if you need any more info

Re: twin transfer cases
What transfer cases can you use - reading the sites it says 21 & 23 spline transfer cases, not knowing my toyota gearbox's more precisely which ones are they? Can two LN130 transfer cases be used? Or do they have to be the earlier ones??
SWB V6 Paj with one or two mods

Re: twin transfer cases
you need two geardrive, ie , no ADD or "shift on the fly" bullshit. The rear case must be a top shift, or you need to get a top shift conversion kit from Marlin
The correct transfer has 7 bolts holding the rearmost housing on

and looks like this

the ones you use are 21 spline input shafts, but you can upgrade them to 23 spline 'specially for the rear case if running 4.7 gears
