2wd hilux body onto 4wd chassis

hi im just wondering if a 1990 2wd hilux d/c can be fitted on to a hilux or surf chassis and how old can it be.
as im looking at starting another project as my safari is almost done

What years?

Early surfs (60 series ones) are shorter than regular luxes.
Ill look for a chassis plan i have somewhere.......

ive got a 2wd d/c hilux chassis any year would prefur late 80s

With what you want to do. Beats me, 100 series onto a 60 series has been done.

Chopper is the guy to answer. He just grafted a 130 surf body onto a 60-something chassis.
