I'm wanting to do this, infact just come in from looking at it on my truck... but mine is fully floating
Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.

I used to make disc brake converstions for Landrovers and 40series Cruisers a long time back.[showing my age]
If these brakes are not on rails you may [will ]get a soft peddle with the first pump of the foot , the reason being that any end float in the 'C' clips allows the pistons to be pushed in to there houseings. I started with austin princess calipers, but ended up useing EE80 Toyota carola calipers which had the rails. I had to fit a HQ holden inline proportioning valve in the rear brake line to stop them from locking up before the front locked up.
