Post by gary_in_nz »

hey, hoping to do a body lift on a ln 106 hilux double cab since there is going to be some quiet time in the workshop this week, so will be able to jump on the lathe and have some fun!! was looking at 40mm or 50mm lift.

can someone please supply me the info for>>

the best diametre, how many i will need, how long the bolts need to be, anything else to consider? will i be cutting and bending gearsticks or do i need to extend brake lines??

Hi done mine a few months back, the brake lines will be fine with the body lift but make sure you loosen off you're steering column shaft as it will be slightly longer than before once lifted and you can move the fire wall seal down to suit the new angle and prevent it from failing.
