holden to lux adaptors???

looking at purchasing comy v6 motor shortly to drop in my 60. Dont try and twist my arm and tell me to go lex v8 or supra 6 all good engines, but ive owned plenty a comys and the v6s are damn good and simple.
Probly want to stick with a holden auto, so will need adaptor to toyo t/c. Who is best to contact for these and who makes the beta ones? ive heard some are more reliable than others and some, the engineering arent always spot on and can give you alignment issues. Also your feedback on the diffreent setup options would be good, ie: holden-toyota box or holden to holden manual or auto box????

how engineeringly capable are you? adapters for a commy auto to transfer case are quite simple to make yourself, or a local engineering outfit should be able to do it

me old mans the engineer, so that could be the option, some reason i thought they were an expensive item. I got a petrol 3y Tim, would that be any probs? think i read it was easier to do the comy conv into a lux that was deisel. Ive actually found a commodore being wrecked close to home, the car is still complete and i can take the car for a drive to check the motor which is a bonus, and he only wants $500 for the engine, box, loom, computer

Mine was a 3y also. it's only got modified engine mounts, holden flywheel, custom made clutch plate (but hopefully comielux can tell me a part number for a bnt one.) and toyota pressure plate. Didn't do it myself but after pulling the shot motor out it looks easy enough to do. Good luck

manual is tempting, fun to drive and more suited for daily driving, but think ide end up thrashing it to much, and ide prefer auto for when in the mud...

Each to their own. Try to get the relays and other stuff out the car and also get the plug for the holden people to plug into. would have made it a lot easier for me when i had a couple of stupid things go wrong like tps, etc.
