Just managed to pick up a rear locker (electric) for the prado (lj71). Does anyone have a wiring diagram?

Is this the bit you want, you'll have to "save as" to see the RH side of the diagram

Slight threadjack but related, anyone know if the LWB prado diffs are the same as the SWB ones? in particular the front?, and is there any difference between the pre 90? (earlier shape pos) and post 90 (ie nicks POS shape)

Yes & Yes!
Others will know better than me but 71 & 78's use the same running gear, just longer chassis and rear drive shaft.
LJ axles are different to KZJ axles, front anyways.
KZJ front has Hi Pinion CW & P, larger steering CV's and possibly a stronger axle housing. Tim (H H) mentioned some of this recently in his thread. As you know the control arms are different too.
Ratio is 4.3 where as LJ is 4.88. 4.88 desirable for 35's. In your case with a revvy gasser 5.29's may be the way to go. Bill has these with his 2JZ.
Doesnt matter for you as you seem to drive about 3 gears too low anyways

Was working on my truck this morn (getting ready for 5 month out of date WOF) How the hell did you manage to bend your tierod at Rallywoods??? Perhaps yours is in a different place than mine (again LJ versus KZJ) as mine sits pretty much up out of the way.
Are we going to see you on the Wet Coast this Easter?
Re: wiring diagram prado rear locker
LJ71 SWB's go up to 92, the later 3L ones are 93? onwards?, As I understand it the pre 90 models have a different type of control arms? which don't articulate as well as the later models. What I was after was the panhard rods? if they fitted (they were not the best when I got the Pos), seems to be plenty of LWB ones around. Toyota want $$$$$ ex japan for new ones.
Are there any places to get new aftermarket ones?
