2f carb
Re: 2f carb
Hi Coxsy, no I don't have a spare 2F carb, in fact I don't even have a spare 3F one
. The old 2F and 3F do like a drink you know
, in fact they are binges
. How far did you travel and how heavy was your foot. On one Trip I let my son drive the Toy and in a period of two hours he managed to half empty the tank that I can usually get a day out of
, mind you It was in the Forest with some real fast road sections
, and don't worry Dad was paying
.
You can get a rebuild kit for the carbs, so unless the throttle shaft is absolutely worn out It could be worth rebuilding, I re-kitted mine and have had no trouble since, except for ,
FOOT TO THE FLOOR,
FITZY.

Re: 2f carb
MIght be talking out my ass here but does anyone know if the injection gear from a 3F-E can be fitted to a 2F? I know the 3F has a slightly shorter stroke but they are essentially the same engine.

the holley will be better on gas than the original 2f carb dude. just get it re kitted and put gas in the tank and dont think about how much it uses
