electrical short, tail lights

fuse for tail lights keeps blowing, got a short sumwhere, hav pulled lenses out and checked the obvious, cant find anything, am i going to have to trace the wires from the rear back to the front untill i find something? dont realy wana do this but is there anything else i can check first, its for my 130 2 door surf

check trailer plug wiring and unpug the loom to the rear and see if it still blows fuse

is trailer plug and tail lights link to same fuse?

I concur....i had a similar prob a while ago...trailer plug was crushed between bumper & body.

just ahad a quick look, nothings crushed or cracked etc, will have a closer look tomorrow, bit wet at the mo
