new starter fof my chev/fj

am sick of not startin when i need it. have huggers that hug the block that fkin much i cant get my starter off without removing rhs pipe set up.
have seen reman starters in petrol head for 129. should i stay away or go better.

where would i get one in "the hutt" or wgtn? ( jerry?)road an trac?

sylvester is in chch i think, or go for a tilton starter, hi torque geared reduction starter. not cheap but reliable. also do you run a relay on the starter solenoid?

nah no relay there , std 74 fj wiring.
should i have relay?
when it wont crank the amp guage is going way down. and then you clear where you are and it goes!!

yea they in chch, depending on what year it is and what size flywheel/ringear it has you may or may not be able to use a tilton.

they do C.C over the phone and delivery is fast, good guys good service. mostly good prices to.

exept for thier price on a new Holley truck avenger carb :shock:

get a high torque starter

its a must
80 Series on 35" creepies, manual with twin factory lockers.

American V8 Performance at the bottom of the normandale hill

Road n Track

some place in Upper Hutt in montgomery cres

or you could even try Magoos over your way

with any luck someone else with come up with other suggestions
