You could run 24 volts thriugh the 12 volt motor or replace your 12 volt motor with a 24 volt one. I have a 24 volt motor I could trade you for the 12 volt moter. It is off an early warn 8274 high mount though. I dont know if they are the same motor. Someone on this forum may be able to confirm or deny this. Or a bit of research on the net.

Yeah I thought of changing the motor for a 24v 1, but the auto sparky advised against it because he diddnt know how long the solernoids would last. Sold the whole 12v system last night and now just hunting a 24v winch for a decent price, had a few good leads via PM's but still keeping my eyes open. thanks for the advise.
