1UZ LN130 Surf for sale

Post by Mattman »

Reluctantly I am putting my 1UZ LN130 up for sale.

I took in off the road about two years ago to do some mods and repair work and haven't touched it in over a year and it's just wasting away so someone else should get some use out of it.

Great truck, did a few great trips in it. Has plenty of power and is easy to drive.

Plenty of good bits and upgrades. Needs someone with a welder to finish front clip for radiator and fan mounts then just some time to put it back together. Everything there. Lots of $$$ and time spent so far.

Looking for offers, know what all the bits are worth and looking for less than half of what it owes me. Not interested in separating.

Cheers
Matt.

Cheers - not enough time for all the projects I have on the go at the moment so going to have to put 4x4ing on the back burner for a couple of years.

That's for the Soarer which is why the Hilux has to go - a man can't have two V8's :-)

Personal circumstances have meant no work on either the Hilux or the Soarer since late last year so now with time coming freer I can finish one so the Soarer it is.

I have the done the trial fit and have all the final pieces now, going to finish the manual conversion first before I do the supercharger fitting. Found the clutch master cylinder would hit the intake of the supercharger that I fitted so that will need to be modded once it's all in.

Have a modded remote shift R154, short shifter, hydraulic throw out, billet flywheel, cast bellhousing, heavy duty clutch, manual pedal set, driveshaft, centre console section so I am pretty much ready to go now.

Looking forward to having a supercharged manual Soarer. Skid time :-)

As above looking for offers really, doesn't matter what I want for it, it has to go.

A fully complete truck like this with all the extras would prolly go for about 7k and I am looking for around half that.

Cheers

Give me a call if you want to discuss.

It's running an adaptor plate with the auto bellhousing.
