Toyota Hilux 2000 3L question

could be looking at a 2000 hilux, with the 3LD. its done 250,000 on the clock, how reliable are these motors? are they as good as the 2.8?

anything to look out for?

which one are you looking at ?
not the one from angus and burrel in upper hut by chance ? 8)

In short- no
the 2.8's go beter as they dont have all the efi economy/emissions junk on it
we have a 2003 4wd extra cab at work, had it since new done 140.000ks and the 2.8 runs rings around it

Id save a few $$$$ and get a beam axel 2.8

yea thats my thinking to about the solid axle.
ill have a noisey at in any way
