1jz-gte to r150f bellhousing or adapter wanted

Post by nzhunter »

Hi guys, as per title really,
ive just bought a surf with a 1jz-gte in it (twin turbo 2.5l soarer engine) but its auto running the surf auto box. Im going to do a manual conversion, looking at running a r150f surf box (out of v6 surf) so need to adapt it

will also need r150f gearbox, clutch pedal box, clutch master and slave cylinder

Cheers for any help in advance

hey mate,

I have since sold my surf. but ended up using the chaser auto bellhousing with an adapter plate to the box. I put a spigot bearing in the back of the crank so the input shaft ran in there. I can't remember the thickness of the adapter plate but it was like 12mm to get the input shaft sitting in the right place as the bellhousing was quite shallow. I used a hydraulic release bearing off a v6 vectra and piped it in. Clutch was a 6 puk push type supra clutch

Cheers, DAN
