LN61 Temp gauge

My temp gauge goes to just below half as soon as the car has started, even when cold?it does not overheat etc..any one know what could cause this?

LN61 factory gauge = useless! they "doctored" them to avoid customers complaining about high running temps you will crack a head before they get hot, there are basically 3 settings extreme cold (sits cold) extreme hot (goes off the clock) and everything else sits at half your should probably be starting at low but its not really worth fixing because you should be going with an after market gauge anyway.

sweet just put a aftermarket gauge in, what sould the temp be from 40 to 120, thanks

did you put the sensor in top or bottom water pipe? going to put one in mine soon, and im unsure

I just replaced the factory sender with the one that came with the gauge and wired it in with the factory temperature gauge on my lux
