Hi
Not 100% happy with how the rear brakes are working on my Trials Truck.
Has a cruiser LJ71 (I think that is the model) rear diff with the factory rear discs.
Figure will try re kitting them to see if I can get them working better but according to Repco they don't stock them (will ring Dace tomorrrow at Appco as not convinced).
Anyone know the best place to get them from??
If repco / Appco does stock them can anyone give me the part number to save getting the run around??

Re: LJ71 Rear Disc Caliper Kit
Is the issue with the main brake Disc pads, or the hand brake Drum shoes?
If its similar to the KZJ backend then I have had problems with handbrake adjustment. 4th set of shoes in 130k and I never really use the damn thing, unlike you trial guys. Had even replaced the rotors and then we ended up adjusting the shoe pivot points with a welder!
Made a HUGE difference and the handbrake can now be adjusted to work on the 2nd or 3rd click.
Thanks to Rick at 4wd Accessories who does my warrants and looked at me sideways when I said I had just adjusted the shoes fully up.
Nothing like adjustment with a Welder!
